Trespassing — Oct. 22
A suspect was reported outside of the URC around 8:47 p.m. He is restricted from being on campus during certain hours and was violating those conditions. He was later arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
Hit and Run — Oct. 22
A blue Nissan Pathfinder hit the complainant’s vehicle around 10 p.m. The driver fled the scene and was never identified. The complainant’s vehicle was later towed.
Theft — Oct. 26
A complainant reported that their bike was stolen from the bike rack outside of Patterson Hall. There are no leads.
Suspicious person — Oct. 28
A caller reported a suspicious person on campus. The individual was believed to be homeless and was informed of campus operating hours. No issues were further reported.
Vehicle Prowl — Oct. 28
A student reported that their car had been broken into around 9:52 a.m. The vehicle had been rummaged through, but nothing was reported stolen.
Vandalism — Oct. 30
A student reported graffiti on a stairwell in Pearce Hall. The message read, “I’m glad that Charlie Kirk died.” There are no suspects at this time.
Intoxicated Person — Oct. 30
A caller reported an intoxicated woman at Sixth and Ash who appeared to bewaving a knife at vehicles and stabbing the ground. The item was later identified as a hairbrush. When questioned by police, she stated she was trying to teach her cat to stay out of the road.
Fight — Oct. 31
Around 12:37 a.m., a report was made of seven women fighting off campus near the sorority houses. They were reportedly intoxicated and physically fighting. One individual was found to be trespassing. No arrests were made.
Vehicle Prowl — Oct. 31
At 3 p.m., a student reported that their vehicle had been broken into in Parking Lot 16. A Bluetooth speaker and ADHD medication were stolen.
Trespassing — Oct. 31
Police responded to a noise complaint at a sorority house. A suspect was found trespassing on the property and had an active warrant. She was arrested.
Intoxication — Oct. 31
A complainant reported seeing an intoxicated woman outside of the townhouses. She was reportedly fighting the complainant, claiming she “only wanted to get home,” and was also banging on doors. Police were unable to locate her.
Weapon Call — Nov. 1
Police responded to a call made at a party after a suspect allegedly flashed a gun at the complainant and a friend while using slurs and acting aggressively. The suspect had entered the party without permission and was asked to leave multiple times. When questioned, the suspect stated it was a laser, not a gun.
Vehicle Theft — Nov. 1
A student reported her car had been stolen outside of Snymancut Hall. The vehicle was later found a few spots away, and no theft occurred.
Theft — Nov. 4
A student reported her clothes stolen from a dryer in Streeter Hall around 3:40 p.m. There are no suspects.
Domestic violence protection order violation — Nov. 6
A staff member reported that a person prohibited from being on campus was seen in the PUB. The incident was initially reported on Oct. 30 but was not reviewed by the prosecutor’s office until Nov. 6. No arrests were made.
Missing Person — Nov. 7
A family reported their elderly uncle missing. He was later found safe.
Liquor Violation — Nov. 8
A CA reported several students in Snymancut Hall who smelled of alcohol. When questioned, the individuals claimed to be guests rather than students. All parties were informed of guest responsibilities and alcohol policies. No arrests were made.
Suspicious Person — Nov. 10
A custodian reported a person asleep in a lounge area in Anderson Hall. Police arrived and identified the individual as a student. No crime was reported.
Suspicious person/Domestic Violence — Nov. 10
A student reported witnessing a possible altercation between a man and woman inside a car. The witness could not identify either party or provide a clear vehicle description. Police did not pursue the case because no visible argument or harm was observed.
Trespassing — Nov. 10
A male student trespassed at one of the sorority houses. He was arrested.
