Name: Ryan McCulloch
Position: Student Services
What do you want to accomplish?
“I have two main goals: The first one, as far as parking goes, I want to try to get free parking for students here and Riverpoint Campus. … The other thing I really want to take care of is … I want to try to get healthier solutions for students [in dining services]. … As far as health goes, salads, maybe even gluten-free kind of stuff for students. I want to try to accomplish something like that on this campus, to give them a healthy alternative.”
Why did you decide to run?
“I handle a lot of stuff along these kind of lines with [Sigma Phi Epsilon], handling and organizing these kind of events and these kind of changes that need to be made. … A lot of my fraternity members are like, ‘Hey, you should probably run for it. You help us do it. Why not try to help the whole school do it?’”
What do you want to change?
“What I want to change is really dependent on what the students want to see, so it’s not a matter of what I want, it’s necessarily what the students want.”
Name: C.W. Twohy
Position: Student Services
What do you want to accomplish?
“I’ve seen how far the food service has actually come in trying to do new things. I’m trying to really push that. Push with dining, push with just being a liaison between the students and whatever concern they may have.”
Why did you decide to run?
“I’m currently holding a position with RHA with a very similar position, which acts as liaison between students and the organization itself. I really want to further myself in benefitting and I think ASEWU is the best way to do that.”
What do you want to change?
“I’ve heard a lot of issues with parking, so bringing those concerns to the table, whether it’s in a committee or just speaking with the director of parking. ”
