Veterans Resource Center opens to students and community

September 27, 2012
The Veterans Resource Center opened its doors to students and the community over the summer and has since experienced heavy foot traffic. The center provides advising, financial aid resources and information on the GI Bill. Director of the center, Dave Millet said, “I would call us a bridge—a connector between our student veterans and the community. We can help get the word out to the community about what our student veterans have to offer and conversely, those in the community can come straight to us.” According to him, the primary focus of the center is to help students transition back into civilian life. More to come in issue two.
